The Reality of Homelessness
Thousands of Minnesotans are experiencing homelessness, and the need reaches far beyond what we can see.
The most recent statewide count identified 8,392 Minnesotans experiencing homelessness, including people staying in shelters and those without shelter. Yet homelessness takes many forms, from sleeping outside or in a vehicle to couch hopping, staying temporarily with family or friends, or moving from place to place without a home of their own.
Behind every number is a person with a story, someone deserving of warmth, dignity, compassion, and the reminder that they are seen and loved.
At 3000 Acts Of Kindness, we meet people where they are, providing essential items, meaningful resources, and human connection when they need it most.
